The ULTIMATE VSCode productivity course
I've spent many years tuning VSCode, so you don't have to.
There is already a ton of tutorials and articles about VSCode. Settings, keyboard shortcuts, snippets, extensions, themes: you name it. They give a good taste of what the editor is capable, but sadly they only scratch the surface. They don't go deep enough.
As a developer productivity junkie, I hate being slowed down by a tool. Your coding speed should be limited by your brain, not the computer.
With a painful amount of time and frustration, I increased my VSCode productivity, one step at a time. By being constantly on the lookout for new extensions and editor features, I managed to completely remove the mouse from my workflow, and I gained so much time.
Wait, how did you do that?
The idea for this course came from pair-programming with coworkers and friends. After explaining countless times how to do an action fast, with keyboard shortcuts, I thought it'd be a good idea to put everything in one place, once and for all.
For the past two years, I've been hard at work building the ultimate Visual Studio Code productivity course. The goal is simple: to make you a faster developer. To allow you to master the tool so you can master your craft.
The goal of course is not to show you everything you can do with VSCode. We won't focus on specific extensions for a language or how to setup a javascript project. You can easily find them online.
Sure, I'll show you the best themes and fonts available so you can customize the editor appearance to your needs, but we'll mostly focus on the one thing that is not much mentioned and is of paramount importance: SPEED OF EXECUTION.
Why focus on speed? Better focus, faster coding, better employability. When you are fast at making something, everything else becomes easier. The editor doesn't get in the way, it becomes your best ally to help you achieve your goals. The coding/debugging feedback loop is reduced.
Join hundreds of faster developers.
